Kevin has been practicing meditation since 1992. He received a bachelor's degree in Religious Studies from Naropa University where he learned meditation from renowned teachers such as Reggie Ray, Judith Simmer-Brown, Ponlop Rinpoche, Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, and Sylvia Boorstein. Kevin has done extensive retreats in the Vipassana Insight tradition and the Shambhala tradition. His goal has always been to incorporate awareness practices into the medical environment. Having led guided meditations in his program Having Health Now for several years now, Kevin's teaching style is clear, relaxed, and poignant. Kevin created this CD in order to clarify some of the misconceptions of meditation and to offer the beginner a thorough introduction to mindfulness training.
